I am not sure if this is the right page to ask this, or even if anywhere in thie wiki is appropriate. If not please signpost me to where this suggestion would belong.
My suggestion is that in the MediaWiki software the link to the RandomPage should provide a random page in the user's own language wherever this is known. I do not read many languages (other than computer langiages) and pages in other languages discourage me from using the RandomPage link. When I am on a monolingual wiki I often go to the RandomPage as a way of broadening my knowledge.
