Behaviour since 1.35

I deleted a few thousand pages of spam content from my wiki, but it doesn't seem as though they were cleaned up properly. There are still records in the text table and the content table, but nothing in the page or archive table.

The deleteArchivedRevisions.php script doesn't do anything, since the archive table is empty (except for a few 'normally' deleted pages) and the purgeOldText.php script doesn't identify these as 'old' either, since that script no longer compares the text table with the archive and revisions tables, and instead only looks for entries from the text table that are missing from the content table.

tldr; nuking wiki pages did not put the pages in the archive table, is this expected behaviour ?
