It’s strange to show mobile version by default for tablets not smartphones.
I don’t use mobile version often but I’ve found that left menu there is too poor: every user which often use desktop version will try to find something like left menu in desktop version but there’s no link to, for example, contributions at all in mobile interface (yes, mobile left menu also is only place in interface where links from desktop top menu could be stored).
To clarify, do you mean that you'd prefer to use the desktop version on your tablet?
By default, there is a Contributions link in the left sidebar. If you turn on Advanced Mobile Contributions in Settings, that link moves to the top right in the User drop-down. Where do you expect to find that link? Are there other links which are missing?
