the pdf form is not available.so please remove the option or otherwise it should work...

This works ok for me in the UK. The PDF works with Adobe Acrobat XR and reads in the Musical notes fine. Window 10 Professional

I am in the US and DL as pdf often does not work or takes several minutes to produce the document or times out.

It is incredible to me that in this day and age, and with the importance of Wikipedia and the resources it has, this is not simply fixed once and for all.

This has been going on for more than a year and if the Wikipedia team can't fix it themselves, they should have a public contest to make a working solution and take off that mind boggling "we have problems with pdf" notice.

No self respecting development team would resort to such a notice.

I suspect you overestimate the resources Wikipedia has in relation to the tasks at hand. The PDF development is not where we lag behind the most in relation to where we would prefer to be, development-wise.

The option to create PDF renders is available, it just has a lot of issues that are being worked out, and the banner on the "create PDF" page says as much.

The article PDF output is available, the book PDF output is not. Hope this helps. Steelpillow (talk) 19:43, 12 October 2018 (UTC)

The font on several subjects when downloaded to a PDF is so small its barely readable.

PDF download worked many times without any problems, since years, till now. My systems in use are linux mint 18.3 and sometimes WindowsXP., and I read in the german Wikipedia.

THE RESPONSE TO DOWNLOAD PDF IS " NETWORK ERROR ". WHAT KIND OF ERROR IS THIS AFTER ALL OTHER SITES ARE ONLINE & ACCESSIBLE ?

There is no need to need to shout. It is probably just that, a network error. I can download just fine. Check your firewall and other security settings in case they are preventing pdf downloads from Wikipedia. Otherwise, try again in a few hours, as in my experience these kinds of thing can occur randomly on a busy network and often clear themselves.

I got in the left margin twice the option download article as PDF. One works, the other gives an error with a link to this page. I made some screen shots as well as RTF-files. If you're interested I can e-mail them to you.
