Hi - it appears that the bike share program in Barcelona isn't for travelers (according to this article: https://www.spinlister.com/blog/beginners-guide-to-biking-in-barcelona/).
Are there good bike shops that have rentals that the locals have tried and can recommend?

Hey @DTankersley (WMF). Unfortunately I can't reccomend any bike shop that offers rentals, but I've been told there's an app called Donkey republic where you can rent bikes that are parked randomly around Barcelona. Hope it suits your needs!
I rented a bike from www.roadcycling.barcelona The owner just dropped it off today :) He also gave me a set of GPS routes that I've cleaned up and added cues to. I'm hoping to ride some of them solo or with friends :D
