If you are running Mediawiki on a shared hosting probably the cUrl it´s blocked for external connections on specific ports (8000,8142), ask your hosting provider to unlock the port (tcp).

when trying to save page iv have just made - times out with the following error:

docserver-http-error: (curl error: 28) Timeout was reached

any help will be greatly appreciated

isn't Parsoid only used if using linux as the operating system?

ive decided im going to move to ubuntu server.
