Enable Previews link on every wikipage?

I understand that you want the options to be easily available, but should we really start piling various preference options direction onto every page?

During Hovercards discussions, several people suggested it might be a good idea to upgrade the preferences system. The preference system could potentially be higher profile, and it could be re-worked to be more friendly to readers. Perhaps the initial preference page would focus on items intended for readers.

How about keeping "Enable Previews" within preferences, with the preferences system itself considered for future examination?

@Alsee - currently this is only the beta feature behavior. For the behavior upon graduation - previews will be off by default for logged-in users (except for the users currently opted into the beta feature). Users may turn the feature on from their preferences page. Check out the settings portion of the functionality page for more details.

In terms of logged out users, we will be looking into logged-out preferences for the future.

Ah, it hadn't crossed my mind that the preferences link doesn't exist for logged out users. That does make it a bit of a mess.
