I can upload image though special:upload and the upload button in wikieditor, normally with 1.27.
However, when I upload image with MsUpload, keep getting Permission denied.
I have tried change user owner to www-data (using debian system) and set chmod to 777. Neither of them get MsUpload back.
Using MW 1.27 and the 1.27 version of this extension from Special:ExtensionDistributor/MsUpload.
https://github.com/mediawiki4intranet/MsUpload tried, too. Not work in my case.
Any idea?
Hi I just found this error and the error in my case wasn't generated by this extension, but was caused by the Lockdown extension.
WOW, you are really awesome! It is really hard to figure out the reason when there are many extensions enabled.

Lol -- I know. If I hadn't had a problem with another access control extension I would have never figured it out. The nature assumption is always to assume the extension not working is the problem and I assumed that also until I tested the Upload Wizard extension. Hopefully Lockdown is fixed soon so this extension and every extension that uses the API can work with it.
Just for the record: There is now a thread about this on the talk page for the Lockdown extension.
@Christharp Not connecting all these threads makes it pretty hard to follow what is going on.
