Hovercards doesn't display images if in the article content is the tag "Plik" (pl. "Plik" = en. "File") instead "Image/File" and tag "Cytuj stronę" (pl. "Cytuj stronę" = en. "Cite web") instead "Cite web" etc...

Can you give an example please?

Thank you for reply.

Plik:123.jpg - doesn't work
- it's working
Grafika:123.jpg - doesn't work
Images:123.jpg - it's working
.- doesn't work
- it's working

Other Cite templates (book, newspeper etc.... in Polish language) also doesn't work in Hovercards viev. I don't know if it's important but Polish version of Wikipedia doesn't use the latest version of Hovercards.

The version of Hovercards that runs is the same on all Wikipedia servers. Are you perhaps talking about Navigation popups ?

When I type "123.jpg" in the search box I get this error:

Fatal error: OOUI\InputWidget cannot use OOUI\FlaggedElement - it is not a trait in /home/czarnob1/domains/czarnobyl.pl/public_html/wiki/vendor/oojs/oojs-ui/php/widgets/InputWidget.php on line 11

Maybe there are incompatible program versions.

TheDJ (talkcontribs)

yes, it looks like versions of mediawiki, its' vendor php dependencies or the extension are not in sync, and that would result in problems like these.

@TheDJ Thanks for looking at this. I don't think I understand. On Wikipedia are we missing these basic translations or is this happening on other versions of mediawiki that are using incompatible extension versions?
