Hi, examples on getbootstrap.com and w3schools.com use the 'button' tag. For example: <button type="button" class="btn btn-primary">Primary</button>. But the wiki doesn't recognize the 'button' tag. Am I missing something here? (not a hacker, not a novelist, what the hell am I ;-) )

Hi Ad. What exactly do you mean by "doesn't recognize the button tag"? What do you want to do?
Hi Stephan, if I put <button type="button" class="btn btn-default">Default</button>
in the code, it shows as that text. If I replace 'button' with 'div' a button appears.
MediaWiki has a filter that allows only certain HTML tags in the code wikitext. See Manual:$wgRawHtml and meta:Help:HTML in wikitext
I found Yaron Korens extension Extension:HTML_Tags extremely helpful in this regard. Best
Hello,
There is no need to have html allowed on your wiki as AdSvS said we have to use
<div class:"btn...
instead.
I achieve to get a nice result with button without html, see http://solutions-web.eu/wiki/Bootstrap_3_(en)#Buttons
For that I add some css class that you can see here http://solutions-web.eu/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.css
