On Wikimedia Commons, Hovercards displays an extract of a Commons page. And doesn't work on [[:en:toto]], [[:fr:toto]]...

It would be interesting to display an extract of a wikipedia page.

i think this is a brilliant idea, and to the best of my knowledge, it's easy to implement. we could even have hovercards on the interwiki links!. the only delicate point here is the need to pay attention to RTL/LTR: the card should use the directionality of the target wiki, rather than the present one.

same for links to other projects (wikitext, wiktionary etc.), as long as the target wiki has the mobile extension installed.
