Topic on Skin talk:Chameleon

Just two things:

• Gadgets enabled through Extension:Gadgets do not appear to work with this skin.
• The glyphicons for the search box are not shown using the latest version of the Bootstrap extension either.

I remember that I added a fix specifically for the glyphicons. Not sure that this would help you, but if you do not do this already, could you try using the development versions of the bootstrap extension and the skin?

As it happens, I was / am using the development versions, but I suspect the issue is that the relevant images are in the svg format.

Both Skin:Chameleon and Extension:Bootstrap got a pretty major overhaul in the last few days. In the course of that I re-installed them both several times without issues. I can not reproduce your problem, so I did not address it specifically. Still it might be worthwhile to try a re-installation. Be aware, that for installation you need Composer now.

Thanks, that's wonderful stuff. For now I can't use Composer since the user interface for wikis without shell access is not yet available - hopefully soon, though, as Composer looks like the right if long overdue way to go.
