The usage of categories on the English Wikipedia varies wildly from the usage in other language Wikipedias. In particular the English Wikipedia likes to add dozens categories per article, while other languages often impose hard limits of less than 5 maximum allowed categories for some topics. (For instance on the Italian Wikipedia a biography must not be in more than 3 job-based categories.) Don't expect any test on categories, run on the English Wikipedia, to have any significance cross-wiki. Nemo 13:51, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
