Link for merge request giver 404 error if not authorised[edit]
The link for creating a merge request, such as the one given in GitLab/Workflows#Force pushing to a branch, gives you a 404 error if you're not authorised. It would be better if this was a 401 error. If the user is not logged in there should be a link to do that.
I've already been tricked a few times when I thought the link was broken, but it turned out I had just been logged out of Gitlab. Sebastian Berlin (WMSE) (talk) 15:08, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
