Until just now the article claimed this:
- Since MediaWiki 1.24, if using the default settings, password hashes will automatically be updated to PBKDF2 as users log in.
Anyway, this seems to be wrong. At least this is not working currently. When I log into my wiki, despite using the default configuration, my password is not updated. It still is a :B: password.
I have then run this script to convert it to :pbkdf2-legacyB:, which worked. But on login this type also is not updated to :pbkdf2:. --88.130.103.22 18:04, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
