updateRestrictions.php file is a maintenance script, that updates page_restrictions table from old page_restriction column.
It processes 1000 items in every batch.
Options
This script does not accept any options.
Usage
php maintenance/run.php updateRestrictions
Terminal
$ php maintenance/run.php updateRestrictions ...processing page IDs from 0 to 1000. ...Done!
In MediaWiki version 1.43.6 and earlier, you must invoke maintenance scripts using
php maintenance/scriptName.php instead of php maintenance/run.php scriptName.
