checkUsernames.php file is a maintenance script that is used to check that all usernames in the database (user table) are actually valid.
Existing usernames can become invalid if User::isValidUserName() is altered or if $wgMaxNameChars is changed.
Options
This script does not accept any options.
Użycie
php maintenance/run.php checkUsernames
In MediaWiki version 1.43.6 and earlier, you must invoke maintenance scripts using
php maintenance/scriptName.php instead of php maintenance/run.php scriptName.In case invalid usernames are found, the script returns the user_id and the username for each of the affected users.
