Configuration parameter usage[edit]

Hello, Is there any information regarding what each configuration parameter actually does? Thanks. MinuteElectron 13:20, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Problem with editing again the page[edit]

Hi, wonderful extension! My problem is that if I edit a layout with predefined sections (with @lock-header), it works fine on the first time, but when editing the page again a new section with the same title appears. This causes that on every new edit there is an adding of the section, making it very complicated to handle... --Esenabre 08:23, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Which version of MediaWiki and Layouts are you using? RobertL 17:52, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Problem with other Namespaces[edit]

Hi, nice extension! But unfortunatly it works on my Wiki only at the Main-NS. Is it a bug, or did I make a mistake? Which one could it have been? Tanks! 11:01, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Ok, found it. For all: You have to add your NS to the Array $wgLayoutCategoryNSWhiteList and/or $wgLayoutWhiteList (dont know.. i added them to both and it worked). For example see the Layouts.php. 11:10, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

New layouts return one string[edit]

I can create layouts under Layout:LayoutNameHere and they show up after I name my page through the CreatePage extension. My problem is that with GenericEditPage is enabled, I get only one empty WYSIWYG editor. The checkboxes for the appropriate headers shows to the right side. When I save the page, everything comes through exactly the same way that the layout is set up, and when I go back to edit, I get separate WYSIWYG editors for each heading, BUT it has added a SECOND set of each heading to the list, doubling the length of the article.

When I have GenericEditPage disabled, all I get is all the text from the original Layout page in a single string.

This makes no sense to me. I assume the problem is with the layout being returned as one string. You can see what I mean at http://molbidb.com, click on "Add an Article" The content of my Layouts.php can be seen here: http://wiki.molbidb.com/index.php?title=Layout_php (click on edit to see the content without bits being translated into wiki markup)

tl;dr layouts returns the content of a layout page in one string without carriage returns - why?
