list of proxies[edit]

Do you have a list of proxies like that? --PurplePopple 18:48, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

yah..same quesiton. any suggestion on getting a list of proxies? --206.132.122.9 03:47, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's not really the author's concern, but since this was written for Jack Phoenix, I suggest checking out the open proxy list on wiki.jackphoenix.com. --Sayuri 11:00, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

For some reason, when i try to install the extension, all the text from the extension shows up on the main page. It's not seeing it as code but as text. Any ideas on how to fix? -DVmaker

I surely understand that someone want's to block access from open proxys, but why does this extension block all access from open proxys instead of just preventing them from editing pages and creating accounts. Viewing a wiki site can't do so much harm for a wiki, or am i wrong ? Is there a possibility to change this in future ? March 14th 2009 --Sonstwer

Automatic updating of proxy list[edit]

So there is no automatic updating of the proxy list? Tisane 17:14, 24 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nope. Leucosticte (talk) 17:52, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

A good place for proxy lists[edit]

For anyone looking for lists of known proxies: one of the best places to find them is at stopforumspam.com. They have a variety lists from daily lists to 365 day lists. (Warning: the 365 list is huge and daunting to import by hand!) Brothejr (talk) 13:46, 10 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oh hey, for those looking to remove my link on the page: instead of deleting it, why not include links to other places that maintain proxy lists. That would be rather useful to those of us who are not so technical savvy about proxies as you may be. Remember: anything you can do to help others out is always appreciated. Telling people to just look them up is not helpful. Brothejr (talk) 09:34, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
