Performance Killer?[edit]

I'm not fully sure, what the exact problem is, but after activating this extension my MediaWiki got terribly slow (2-4 times slower than normal) when requesting any page. I disabled the extension and the performance impact went away. This behavior is reproducible on my system. --Rrosenfeld 12:30, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Broken in MediaWiki 1.12.0[edit]

This extension is broken in MediaWiki 1.12.0, probably due to the parser changes. Instead of rendering the tags you pass it, it merely displays them literally. For example, the example on the article page,

{{#expandafter:math||{ {{{1}}} \over 2 } }}

does not display a math formula, just the literal wikitext:

<math >{ {{{1}}} \over 2 }</math>}
