Failure to deploy

After following the instructions at http://smwforum.ontoprise.com/smwforum/index.php?title=Help:Installing_HaloACL_1.0&context=Help:HaloAccessControlList+1.1 I still can't make this extension work. special:HaloACL is empty because HaloACL_Language.js calls Class.create() before prototype.js is included. Also, I didn't run the patch because I'm on mediawiki 1.15.2 and not semantic, so I'm assuming I don't need to patch anything because my version wasn't mentioned anywhere. And another small issue I think that the section called "Updating the database" should be step #5 of the section "How to install manually". The problem is with non english wikis, just tested on clean wiki one on english and the other on hebrew and
only on hebrew breaks. But im working on something to work it out for other languages.

Maybe you can help Installation the ScriptManager extension http://smwforum.ontoprise.com/smwforum/index.php/Help:Script_Manager_Extension . Because it helped me.

MW !.16 Patches?

Hi - I am upgrading to MW 1.16 beta, and am wondering if/when the halo patches are going to be available for it? Thanks - John

The patch is called patch_for_MW_1.16.0.txt. It can be applied to MW 1.16.0 and MW 1.16.1. Regards Thomas.

Great - now how about the current release 1.16.5? I am using the DF to install, and it says that dependencies are okay to install Halo ACL ontop of 1.16.2, so is the DF the ultimate arbiter of this sort of thing??? For instance, I want to upgrade to 1.16.5 first before I install SMW and Halo ACL; will DF then indicate that I can install Halo ACL for that release?

Last, would you please maintain the MW level that Halo ACL supports (on Extension:Access Control List/Archive 1) - when it is incorrect or misleading, very much alot of confusion anxiety & frustration happens for us troops in the fields... thanks

Patches

Are there patches available for Semantic MediaWiki 1.5.4? It seems as though the only ones available are up to SMW 1.5.2.

Also, is patch for Semantic Form 2.0 applicable to & tested for Semantic Forms 2.0.4?

Access Control List extensions is supposed to be compatible with MediaWiki 1.17 although I cannot find any corresponding patch.

Any ideas?

Wrong page activetab=manageUsers

I have problem with this extenstion. When I want for example save group -> OK -> It redirects me to Special:HaloACL?activetab=manageUsers and shows that there is no such site. What is this page? What could be wrong?

Is MEMCACHED really required? I mean, the extensions seems to work without it. Did I miss something?

Comparison to Lockdown

How does ACL compare to the Lockdown extension? They both seem similar at first glance. Does anyone have experience using both?

When enable ACL extenstion, link to create account is showing

When I'm using ACL extension there is link to page Special:Login&type=signup on page with login, where I can register the user. But I don't want to give access to this page for anonymous user, so I tried using

  $wgGroupPermissions['*']['createaccount'] = false

Disappearance of extension

The github page for HaloACL seems to have disappeared outright.

This also seems to include their site, however the outdated sourceforge page is still up and working. Anybody know the reason for this?
