Features[edit]

This extension notifies the user and his/her internet connectivity status. If submitted while offline, it will parse Wikitext to HTML and then renders it.

Installation[edit]

  • Download and place the file(s) in a directory called OfflineExtension in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php:
    require_once "$IP/extensions/OfflineExtension/OfflineExtension.php";

  • Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.

WikiText tags supported[edit]

Wikitext is written in a lightweight markup language with specific syntax rules. The tags supported by the Offline Extension can be found here: https://github.com/Srijancse/OfflineExtension/wiki

Known issues[edit]

  • Parsing WikiTables to HTML hasn't been added to the parser yet. It is under development.
