Okay, I have downloaded, extracted, and uploaded my copy of MediaWiki. When I go to the wiki, it says "LocalSettings.php not found. Please set up the wiki first." So i click set up the wiki. Then no matter what I do, this error is thrown at me: "Error starting session: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: open(/var/php_sessions/sess_095f5068adbc6b7c45d3fbdfa00113a3, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) " I'm not sure what to do, please help! All of the content on Installation is available, or could easily be made available, within Manual:Installation guide. Having two pages with such similar information seems unnecessarily confusing.
