Users[edit]
Due to the nature of UNIX, the IP addresses of Toolserver users (those with Toolserver accounts) is available to other Toolserver users (through lastlog, etc.).
Visitors[edit]
Visitors to Toolserver tools may have their IP address or browser information recorded by Toolserver tools.
Toolserver policy does not allow using the same login credentials on the Toolserver as your Wikimedia project credentials (user name and password). Generally it is not possible to link a particular visit to a site with a specific user account. However, it is possible to link your IP address to your Wikimedia account if you use a Toolserver tool and the tool is set to record such information along with other identifiable information.
