Extension:Adiutor/User acceptance testing/Guide

Before you start[edit]

  • Go to the Adiutor test wiki.
  • Create new test account and login.
  • Enable Adiutor on the beta-features preferences page.
  • Activate Adiutor in the Moderation section of your preferences.

Test cases[edit]

Testers can test features using the options available in the Actions section under the Tools menu on the right sidebar of the page.

Case 1: Create speedy deletion request[edit]

Test steps:

  1. Find a test page.
  2. Use Adiutor to create a speedy deletion request for the page.

Expected results:

  1. The speedy deletion request is successful and a template added to the page.
  2. Verify that the page reflects the deletion request status.

Case 2: Propose page for deletion[edit]

Test steps:

  1. Find a test page.
  2. Use Adiutor to propose the deletion of the page.

Expected results:

  1. The page is successfully proposed for deletion and a template added to page.
  2. Verify that the proposed deletion is reflected on the page.

Case 3: Request page protection[edit]

Test steps:

  1. Find a test page.
  2. Use Adiutor to request page protection.

Expected results:

  1. The page protection request is successfully submitted on test wiki's Request page protection noticeboard.
  2. Verify that the request added to the protection request noticeboard.

Case 4: Request page move[edit]

Test steps:

  1. Find a test page.
  2. Use Adiutor to request a page move.

Expected results:

  1. The page move request is successfully submitted on test wiki's Page mode requests noticeboard.
  2. Verify that the request added to the protection request noticeboard.

Case 5: Tag articles with maintenance tags[edit]

Test steps:

  1. Find a test page.
  2. Use Adiutor to tag the article with various maintenance tags.

Expected results:

  1. The maintenance tags are successfully applied to the article.
  2. Verify that the tags are visible on the article page.
