Session outcomes[edit]

Participants will:

  • get introduced to SPARQL, an RDF query language that is used to retrieve and manipulate data stored in Wikidata. In other words, this is not a workshop on putting data in Wikidata; this is about getting data out of the database again to make for example overviews, lists and get insight into the data that are available in databases of organisations all over the world.
