We're using your extension

Just wanted to let you know that we're successfully using your AuthDrupal extension on wiki.grid.org+www.grid.org. Seems to work pretty well--smoother than our attempt to use LDAP as a common backend. It would be nice if your extension could override the Special:UserLogout and Special:UserLogin pages without having to resort to mod_rewrite rules though. -- Bovineone 06:07, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Working on 1.14/D6 port and import on Drupal.org

Hi,

Just a quick note to let you know we (koumbit.org) are working on porting the module to drupal 6 and mediawiki 1.14. I am starting a project on Drupal.org to simplify following the Drupal branches and releases. You are of course welcome to collaborate on that project and it is by no mean a fork of any kind i am intending, just a way to quickly release our work to the general public.

Any further updates? Deeper syncing options available?

Just a note to say I've been using the extension/module set up working with D6 and MW 1.17. Works great. However, I'm wondering if workarounds/fixes for real syncing of updates from user profiles to MW profiles is in the works. According to someone named Paul on Extension_talk:AuthDrupal says he got it to sync (including groups) with triggers. I'm also wondering if maybe the relatively new Drupal module Bakery might be a way to achieve the same thing you're doing with this module. In any event, thanks! You've gotten my site(s) about 80% there, but I'm still looking for a fix for real syncing of the user names, emails, and groups from Drupal to MW. uid sync issues between drupal 6 and mediawiki 1.20.3 and also drupal roles and mediawiki groups problem‏

I am working on Drupal 6-Mediawiki Integration project. I am able to single-sign-on (SSO) from my drupal 6 site to mediawiki.But I am facing some issues. The drupal roles are not automatically getting registered into the mediawiki databases.Moresoever,there are uid sync issues. Can you help me how to do group management in mediawiki if I want all the drupal roles to be automatically registered in mediawiki database?Also If a username contains underscore in Drupal, the underscore is not appearing in mediawiki .Can you fix this?Actually Paul Coghlan has worked on the Drupal 6 roles syncronisation with Mediawiki Groups through Triggers.But I am not able to contact him.--Satyamcompany (talk) 04:45, 14 May 2013 (UTC)
