Hi Serenety and Welcome on MediaWiki.org,

thanks for your short text on Painting. Could you add the needed information and a free license to Image:Wikipainting.png please? Greetings --:Bdk: 00:46, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Oh sorry, it should be okay now :) --Serenity 23:10, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Thank you :-) But "CC" alone is not yet clear enough (it's like "GNU" without defining the following part, e.g. if you mean GFDL or GPL). Could you tell me, if you want it under CC-by-2.0/2.5 or CC-by-sa-2.0/2.5 (presumably the last one)? See this page for basic explanation (note: -nc and -nd are not usable for us). Greetings --:Bdk: 00:05, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Right. Let's say images are published in both CC by and CC by sa licences :-) --Serenity 16:15, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey I like your foldingNav script and would like to use it but Im running into a weird problem. when I test the page in preview mode, everything works beautifully, but then when I save the page, the images arent displayed and there is no functionality at all. Is there some sort of documentation available for the script somewhere?

i have the same problem. (Ich habe das gleiche Problem)

when I save the page, the problem is the link from image "www.name.de/wiki/inde.php/extention... <- incorrect when I test the page in preview mode, the link is "www.name.de/wiki/extention... <- correct

can anybody help me?--88.74.142.238 22:42, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] FoldingNav modifications

Hi, I've been using the ToggleDisplay extension on my wiki, and I want to be able to nest ToggleDisplay tags, as well as put them into section headers. I saw that your FoldingNav does both of those things, but I actually would like to retain the ability to use text link, as opposed to an image. I want to try to create my own hybrid version with features from both FoldingNav AND ToggleDisplay. I don't know all that much about PHP or mediawiki though, so I was hoping you could help out. The source is very short - obviously the only significant difference is in the ToggleDisplay()/core() PHP functions - they're accomplishing the same thing, but I don't quite understand what they're doing differently. Can I get any clues about this? Thanks

Never mind, I got it working, it was pretty easy. If anyone is as stupid as me and wants help, drop me a line at monguin61@yahoo.com

[edit] FoldingNav Error

Hi, I have installed this extension but when I did a test run I received a JavaScript error saying "Effect is not defined". Checked my installation and editing to LocalSettings.php they were all fine. Just couldn't get the result shown on you sandbox page. Another thing is that when I used your examples in the test page I got these "Edit" links (sectional edit) on the right side. I guest these double/triple equal signs were mixing up with the wiki code. If you have any clues would you email me at breezehill@gmail.com? Many thanks

[edit] FoldingNav not compatible with v1.16 of MediaWiki

Hi, I upgraded from v1.14 to v1.16 of MediaWiki, and my favourite extension (FoldingNav) doesn't work - any ideas? If so, could you send them to support AT designrem dot dom.
Same for me, did any one found the solution - tks - moxou

[edit] Preview to saved view solution (works in 1.16 too btw)

The FoldingNav.php needs to be adjusted. All the following lines need an extra '/'.
<script src="/extensions/FoldingNav/scriptaculous-js-1.8.2/lib/prototype.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/extensions/FoldingNav/scriptaculous-js-1.8.2/src/scriptaculous.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
$showimage = "/extensions/FoldingNav/$level+.png";
$hideimage = "/extensions/FoldingNav/$level-.png";
