Hi there,

after using PMWiki for the freemusicwiki I now start changing it to Mediawiki. The still very thin Mediawiki version of the freemusicwiki can be found here. The reason for changing from PMwiki to Mediawiki is especially the user self registration which is still not a common and easy to install feature in PMWiki, whereas it seems to be a basic thing in Mediawiki. And I think giving users the possibility to selfregister is a good thing.

Besides I am responsible for the freemusicpodcast where you can read about music that is under free licences.
