My name is Derk-Jan Hartman and I used to be a developer of VLC media player. I do a lot of technical maintenance work in the English Wikipedia regarding custom javascript, CSS and templates. Currently I contribute to MediaWiki when I can. I mostly deal with some file and media issues, as well as fixing some glaring errors that are reported to the English Wikipedia Village Pump whenever I have the time. I'm a contributor to WikiMedia Mobile where I have introduced support for various mobile devices. I also try to assist the Usability team by reporting and tracking bugs.
