Welcome to my user page. I am Jack Phoenix, a MediaWiki developer since 15th of May, 2008 (under the commit name ashley). I also keep a blog where I post random thoughts related to MediaWiki, programming and all the like.

In addition, I'm a bureaucrat here and if you notice I've made a mistake, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Languages I speak

My mother language is Finnish, so you can contact me if you have some questions about Finnish Wikimedia projects (not that I'd know anything about them, but still). My first foreign language is English and I speak it fluently. I also speak Swedish, that happens to be my second foreign language and I know at least some basics of Swedish by now. I think that by knowing Swedish, I can understand Norwegian language since they're mutually intelligible languages. And most Norwegian people know what I'm trying to tell to them if they want to. Or that's what I've been told. ;)
