I'm Dan. I've been in IT since I was 18 years old and a SysAd since I was 21 years old. For the past several years, I've been what most would call a Linux guy, and prefer the openSUSE distribution above all. I use KDE for its numerous productivity applications and intuitive interface, combined with the slick effects of Compiz Fusion, a compositing window manager.

Summary: Eight years of experience implementing and supporting high availability systems for Fortune 500 companies in heterogeneous environments. Additional experience includes a key role in the fast paced environment of an Internet startup. In addition to architecting, implementing and maintaining large scale software solutions, I also have experience in web application development and troubleshooting.
