Well, it seems like you’ve reverted my edits. I have two questions:

  1. What does “wrong markup” mean?
  2. I know much less about translation than you, but shouldn’t parentheses be inside translation units as some languages like Chinese use full-block parentheses?
Shirayuki (talkcontribs)

The translation unit markers are duplicated. They should not be manually added.

I removed the parentheses from the source text, so please compromise with that.

Ah, it seems I've misread the diff. That makes sense, I thought you had some kind of qualm with ConvenientDiscussions. Thanks!

So, there isn't any way to only have to translate once for the same text that's repeated over an article then? I'll try merging cells then

Could I replace the dashes with colons?

Shirayuki (talkcontribs)

I've restored only the ConvenientDiscussions column.

Please refrain from replacing with colons, as there's a difference in usage—no space before a colon in English and a space before a colon in French, causing conflicts.

Aaron Liu (talkcontribs)

Well, they use an entirely different dash in Chinese. Should I replace the hyphens with en dashes then? That way it's at least consistent with most latin languages. Thanks.

Shirayuki (talkcontribs)

Feel free to replace them with en dashes.
