Topic on Extension talk:TemplateData

Works but makes it impossible to use the editor.

The doc says:

"Note that  you cannot use {{#tag:templatedata}} in lieu of ‎<templatedata>."

Why not? Works just fine for me, and was also the solution for a problem below.
