Can I target the .mw-parser-output div itself?

As a note, I filed a task for this a few years down the road from this discussion at phab:T271588.

Not with TemplateStyles. The div exists to limit the scope of the TemplateStyles CSS, not to be a target for TemplateStyles itself.
