Using RichTextEditor cannot put an internal link on wiki page

WYSIWYG extension (Version 1.6.0_0 [B8], CKEditor 3.6 (revision 6902))

Only way to add an internal link on a page is to switch to WikiTextEditor.  Is this by design?
Or is something missing?

Just use <other> as protocol.
Then the text you enter will be considered a wiki page title.
