Learn and help with Release Notes

Hi, I am a GSoC'12 student working on a Semantic-Mediawiki project User:Nischayn22/Gsoc. As Sumana and Gregory have asked all of us to learn about Release Notes and gave this link I would like to know how I can help and learn.
