Woot![edit]

This is totally, completely awesome. Just fyi.--Jorm (WMF) 00:10, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks :) . By the way, the title is kind of incorrect; the CSS and stuff isn't just the top bar, it's also the bottom bar. (And also a pile of general mobile site JS.) --Yair rand 00:35, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Even more awesome. Do you want some cut assets? I can provide.
Sure. --Yair rand 00:43, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
The image file of the search icon that you uploaded to the images folder of Brion's mockup is different from the image used in the screen mockups on the Athena page (the different orientation of the magnifying glass makes it about 80% wider). Has the design just changed, or are those images supposed to be used for something else, or...? --Yair rand 02:39, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'll have to look. The image itself (that got uploaded) is probably 32x32, and may need downscaling. Those icon dumps were just that - icon dumps, without a lot of thought behind sizing and the like. If you have a specific request, though, let me know.--Jorm (WMF) 03:35, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Things that would be useful:

  • An image of the expanded "More" menu.
  • An image of the search suggestions system. (I've just been using a system similar to the one used on the non-mobile site.)
  • Clarification of whether the blue coloring for the "Sign in" button is dependent on the user being on the login page, and an image of the normal coloring if it isn't.
  • Correctly sized background images for the "History", and "More" buttons, the contents of the "You" menu, and the search button.
  • Info on how the section expand/collapse button looks when the section is expanded. (I've just replaced the "+" in the "−" in the script but I don't know if that's correct.)

  • An Athena-styled Reference reveal design.
