Initial thoughts[edit]
This should be fairly trivial to create as a JavaScript gadget as a proof-of-concept. I'd recommend creating an opt-in gadget and playing around with it for a while (allowing users to try it out and get feedback) before spending time trying to get this into MediaWiki core and/or trying to get this deployed this widely. - Support, but I'd like it even more if there were an arrow next to the Wikipedia 'W' that users could click to make the left sidebar sticky as well. — RandomDSdevel (talk) 16:32, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
