Original string. And here we have modified string. But translated string (in russian) looks like taken from original string translation.
If we have modified strings can we translate it via translate extension to keep it up to date?

This is an old message... well, since login is common across WMF wikis, ideally this should be part of a WMF message common for all wikis. I guess this should be brought up on phabricator, since this should affect all wikis.
