ad code?

I can't find the ad code of which you speak. All the ads amazon generates for me have code that looks like this:

I know that, for this one, "B00480P67K" is the product ID, and "baldwineditoritu" is my id, but I don't find a string that looks anything like the code you suggest belongs in the tag to be placed in my pages, such as

id="01234567-89ab-cdef-0123-456789abcdef"
