XmlWiki allows articles to be more Object Oriented having properties and methods in an associated XML article. The properties allow PHP, CSS, XML or XSLT articles to be hooked in to the articles database, view, edit or save events or to give permissions and language information to articles.
IMPORTANT NOTE: XmlWiki is an extension that has evolved over the last two years to help us to learn about the MediaWiki code and to help us with our own collaborative development of our own project. It has many powerful features but also many bugs, and has only been put here on this wiki as it has many aspects which may be of interest to MediaWiki extension developers and other users, but should not be used for anything serious.
