Amsterdam Hackathon 2014/Topics/Wikidata batch import bot

Pywikibot is a bot framework which already supports Wikidata well and has several scripts to edit Wikidata. It would be nice to write a general Wikidata batch data import bot which can either be subclassed or has a configuration file for imports. I already have some hacked up code which could be used as a basis.
