Hiho Pathochild, you've a page /Manual:Installation now. Sorry for that, but please do not just copy pages from Meta, that are written under the GFDL. We'll move a bigger amount of pages including their history from wiki to wiki soon (I'll have to poke Brion for that and still need to complete a list of files). So you could copy pages manually without problems if you are the only author, or if if you respect the GFDL (note the main authors, page history and so on; this is easier for pages with a short history). Please also note, that the Help namespace on MediaWiki.org is in the public domain, see Project:Namespaces and that we're still in the state of starting this project ;-) Hope, that you are not too disappointed. Anyway, thanks for your work - it is nor lost, and you can improve Help:Installation (should be Manual:Installation here) after it was moved, or still right on Meta now, if you want. - Hey. I've implemented the changes at m:Help:Installation and tagged the subpage for speedy deletion. Sorry about that; I couldn't find the documentation related to editing this particular wiki. My original intention was a formatted history table stored in the talk page history and linked to from the page history. I was waiting until I complete a PHP script I'm writing to create the table from the history for such circumstances. Importing it is a much cleaner solution. - Hello Wikimaniac. Sayuri reverted you, not me. The reason we use external links on help pages is that they're intended for copying to new wikis, which generally don't have the same interwiki table. A interwiki link will probably not work on a different wiki, but an external link always will. For more information, please see Project:PD help. —Pathoschild 21:21:56, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
