The Tools Platform team is a sub-team of the Developer Experience group within the Wikimedia Foundation. We are responsible for maintaining and extending the Toolforge hosting environment (platform as a service (PaaS)), and many additional supporting technologies used in the Wikimedia Cloud Services environment. The team works in partnership with the larger Wikimedia volunteer community to manage the physical and virtual resources that power the environment and provide technical support to volunteer developers and other Wikimedia Cloud Services users.

The team originated from a split of the former Wikimedia Cloud Services team. We share the scope of Cloud Services with the Tools Infrastructure team.
