• Various and sundry fixes for Patch Demo.
  • Log streaming timeouts
  • Code reorg in preparation for making Wikifarms easier to use in the front-end.
• Upgrading Jenkins to Java 21 (in progress)
  • Needed since next LTS will be Java 21 only.
  • We've verified plugins we need work/can be built.
  • Now reimaging workers.

Lessons Learned

• T420743 Kubernetes is getting rid of nginx ingress. We replaced that for GitLab's CI runners with traefik.
• Cloud VPS has a new version of Magnum. We're eager to learn if we can use it for Kubernetes atop cloud VPS.

Community collab

• T419188 Catalyst CI for Ultraviolet userscript. Developers working on an antivandalism user script would like to use Catalyst—the API that powers patchdemo—to test their userscript. Complete.
• Finishing up the Developer Satisfaction Survey report. Should be able to post soon.

Other

Deployment of MediaWiki 1.46.0-wmf.21

There were no rollbacks or blockers this week, but there was an UBN for mobileapps. Looks like a CSS change in MediaWiki broke responses to https://en.wikipedia.org/api/rest_v1/page/mobile-html. Quickly fixed by jgiannelos (T421359).
