Translate[edit]

Wikimedia's software is translated to hundreds of languages using the Translate extension for MediaWiki. In addition it is used to translate help pages, newsletters, policies, announcements, banners, etc. It is installed on Wikimedia special projects, translatewiki.net and many other sites. Translate is part of MLEB.

  • Remove extraneous arrow from tux-editor-n-uses message. (Phab:T236736)
  • Add help link to Special:AggregateGroups (Phab:T179802)
  • Fix incorrect translation restriction check (Phab:T238099)
  • Add a link to the pagename in "tpt-unmarked" message (Phab:T236935)
  • Display error message with HTML entity insertables properly escaped (Phab:T231942)
  • Add secondary check before displaying tpt-unknown-page error (Phab:T221119)
  • Display an error message if translation aids fail to load (Phab:T221119)

Universal Language Selector[edit]

Universal Language Selector provides language selector, list of suggested languages, input methods and web fonts. It is part of MLEB.

  • Put overhauled icon on baseline and unify code with Vector's (Phab:T207075)

MediaWiki Language Extension Bundle[edit]

The MediaWiki language extension bundle (MLEB) provides an easy way to bring ultimate language support to your MediaWiki. The bundle is a collection of a selected few MediaWiki extensions needed by any wiki which desires to be multilingual.

MediaWiki core internationalization[edit]

Changes to translations and equivalent localisation data (magic words, namespace names) are not included in this list. The volunteer translators are updating translations every day to keep up with changes.
