Content Translation[edit]
Updates from the ongoing development and deployment for Content Translation. (Newsletter)
Development update[edit]
- cxserver migrated to service-runner. The API endpoint documentation is available at https://cxserver.wikimedia.org/v1. About 5 hours downtime happened during the transition.
- Personalized suggestions are enabled and available for all language pairs. Suggestions are based on previous translations.
- Parallel corpora API developed. Waiting for deployment in January
- Misc bug fixes about stability

Development update[edit]
As per regular MLEB release cadence, there was no release in December. Next release will be in January. We are getting steady over 100 downloads per month for the latest release.
Translate again had usual amount of code maintenance. Various code style checkers were updated and code was updated to confirm the new rules. A couple of small bugs were fixed and performance of message index code was improved. Work to make Translate compatible with PHP 7 was started.
OpenDyslexic font included in Universal Language Selector was updated.
All in all December was a quiet month.
