Wikimedia Hackathon 2022/Meetups
This page will be used to document local meetups happening during the Hackathon. You can add the location of your meetup to the map by adding a dictionary to the features list.
The Code of Conduct for Wikimedia's Technical Spaces and Friendly Space Policy will be in effect throughout the event, on all platforms, discussion channels, and at local meetups.
Online Women and Non-binary Meetup[edit]
Join us on May 19th at to converse on gender and LGBTQI challenges within the technical community. We will also explore how to start a project or group; learn how to apply for funding; understand related scripts and tools; and discuss how to provide technical support to editor projects such as Women in Red, Projet les sans pagEs, Las Imprescindibles, and Art+Feminism. Meetup in Berlin, Germany[edit]

Meetup in Ulm, Germany[edit]
There will be a Meetup in Ulm, Germany in the Verschwoerhaus on Saturday and Sunday depending on the interest. If you are interested in participating please write it on the talk page of Wikipedia:Ulm/Neu-Ulm in the German Wikipedia. Meetup in Hyderabad, India[edit]
The Indic MediaWiki Developers Usergroup will organizing a local meetup of the hackathon in Hyderabad, India, from 20-22 May. As the scope this meetup is country-level, if you have prior contributions to Wikimedia technical spaces or MediaWiki at-large and currently residing in India, we have scholarships available to support in-person participation. Meetup in Villupuram, India by VGLUG[edit]
இந்தியாவில் உள்ள விழுப்புரம் நகரில், VGLUG - விழுப்புரம் கட்டற்ற மென்பொருள் குழுமம் சார்பாக வருகிற மே 20 முதல் 22 தேதி வரை விக்கிமீடியா ஹேக்கத்தான் 2022 கான உள்ளூர் சந்திப்பு நடக்க உள்ளது. இதில் விக்கிமீடியா திட்டங்களுக்கு பங்களிக்கும் வகையில் பல மென்பொருட்களை உருவாக்க பல மென்பொருள் வல்லுனர்களும், கட்டற்ற மென்பொருள் ஆர்வலர்களும் இணைய உள்ளோம். ஆர்வமுள்ள நண்பர்கள் vpmglug@gmail.com என்ற மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் தொடர்பு கொள்ளவும்.
The local meetup for Wikimedia Hackathon 2022 will be held in Villupuram, India from May 20 to 22 on behalf of VGLUG - Villupuram GNU/Linux Users Group. Meetup in East Airport, Accra-Ghana[edit]
The African Wikimedia Technical Community will be organizing a local meetup of the hackathon in Accra, Ghana from 21-22 May. As the scope this meetup is country-level, if you have prior contributions to Wikimedia technical translation space or MediaWiki at-large and currently residing in Ghana, we have scholarships available to support in-person participation. Meetup in Prague, Czech Republic[edit]
