Google hangouts on air is being discontinued (Sept 12?)
- just fyi and might need to check meeting invites, saved videos, etc
- Switching to youtube
- Does not affect basic hangouts as we use for normal meetings
Interactive team is working on enabling <maplink> on all Wikipedias

T139378 - implement nearby keyword search - working on this for the Reading Department
- First iteration done and deployed (in our ‘done’ column)
- Will wait for feedback and see if any more changes are required

Search
- Make BM25 algorithm the default
  - (No increase in zero results rate or decrease in search user engagement rate)
- Evaluate and devise plan for using cross-project indices, which would allow users to search across all projects in any given language.
Interactive: Maps/Graphs/...
- Make <maplink> tag available for all wiki projects, and <mapframe> available everywhere except Wikipedia.
- Offer community a way to migrate away from GeoHack
Portal
- Graduate latest successful test to production - lang by article count dropdown for the new page layout Done
- Graduate translations for sister wiki project descriptive text into production
- Continue to update article stats on a regular basis (last updated: Aug 4)
